Go North West signs up with WhatsApp

Go North West is pioneering WhatsApp as a tool for communicating with its customers.

 

WhatsApp is one of the world’s leading instant messaging services. It is free and easy to download from the App Store or Google Play and is sed by more than a billion people around the world. Go North West is harnessing its power to communicate better with its customers.

 

Jon Croxford, operations and commercial director, says: “We’re constantly looking for new ways to help our customers get in touch with us quickly and easily, and WhatsApp is one of the most widely-used messaging services around. We’re able to communicate more effectively than ever before, keeping customers in the loop with what’s happening, and making bus travel more accessible for everybody.”

 

All bus users need to do to get in touch with Go North West is to text a message and a member of the customer services team will reply speedily. They answer questions between 07.00 and 19.00 on weekdays. Messages can still be sent outside of these times, but replies to them will take longer.
