Since its launch in 1949, Buses Magazine has become the UK's biggest selling
and most widely read publication covering the bus and coach industries. With
monthly sales in excess of 14,000 copies and a readership exceeding 31,000,
appreciate the quality editorial that is aimed equally at senior industry
professionals and passionately interested enthusiasts.
We seek to carry an up-to-date distillation of the month's most important news
at home and overseas, often running stories before weekly trade magazines
break them.
Our features cover most areas of interest, looking at vehicle operation, technical
developments, ticketing, publicity, vehicle preservation and a review of what's
new in the enthusiast marketplace.
We succeed in being fiercely independent, unafraid to criticise aspects of the
industry, which we feel could be improved. Passenger's-eye views of bus and
coach travel feature regularly, pointing out the good and the not so good.
There are a number of features unique to Buses. Our dedicated recruitment
section 'Bus Opportunities' carries the latest editorial on the movers and shakers
within the industry, called 'Bus People' Unlike other publications, who scatter
their vacancies within the Classified pages, Bus Opportunities follows the news
pages at the front of the magazine.
Fleet News is now an 18 page section detailing the latest additions to and
departures from major and less major bus and coach fleets in the UK and
Ireland. This is the section that many readers turn to first and we know that it is
also read by manufacturers as a source of market intelligence.
